At the 28th Central European Tourism Trade Fair, China presents its tourism & cultural attractions!

An exhibition highlighting all the tourist and cultural attractions of China became the showcase of the 28th Central European Tourism Trade Fair which started in Prague Thursday.

Thousands of brochures having recommended traveling routes as well as sites in China were organized to hand out to probable tourists.

Also, the organizer partnered with well-known local travel agencies and many Chinese airlines to design specific tourism products serving local interests and tastes of people.

Arranged by the Budapest Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China (MCT), the exhibition also presented displays of martial arts and tea ceremony, which lured tourists to join and experience the essence of traditional Chinese culture.

Cui Ke, chief of Budapest Office of MCT, said the exhibition is all set to show the charm of China through its amazing culture and magnificent landscape, making tourism one of the key boosters of bilateral exchanges between China and the Czech Republic and even the central Europe.

Figures showed that in last year, a total of 620,000 Chinese tourists poured into the Czech Republic, a growth of 26.5 percent over the previous year. In the same year, 30,000 Czech tourists visited China.

Not just in the Czech republic, the Central European Tourism Trade Fair “HOLIDAY WORLD” is the prime tourism event but in the Central European region as well. The 2019 edition of the show, which will last until Sunday, has experienced more than 400 exhibitors from 42 countries world over.
