Congo launches visa-free travel to attract maximum tourists

Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Jean-Claude Gakosso, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Congo, signed a MoU, excluding the holders of Emirati passport from prior visa requirements to enter Congo.

“Today, we signed an MoU on the mutual exemption of visa requirements, as part of an initiative by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to strengthen the stature of the UAE passport,” Gargash said.

He further added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has been a long way in its political and consular initiations to fortify the international profile of the country.

The signing of the MoU is part of its need to present outstanding services to the citizens of the country and merge the bilateral relations of UAE with other countries, through promoting cooperation in the areas of tourism, business and investment.
