MIRAMAR, FL - With the final countdown on for the largest and only official cruise tourism conference in the Caribbean, the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show, the FCCA announced more details about the social functions and tours included in the agenda's blend of business and fun. Taking place in San Juan this Nov. 5-9, the event will offer the social functions and tours-in addition to the host of meetings, workshops and opportunities to promote and exhibit products-to provide unique chances to network and foster the overall goal of developing relationships, understanding and mutual success between attendees and the largest-ever delegation of cruise executives in the event's history, with more than 150 expected-including a dozen chairmen, presidents and/or CEOs-from numerous sectors throughout the FCCA's Member Lines, which represent 95 percent of the global ocean cruising capacity.

"I am excited to meet with the destination stakeholders at the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show," said Adam Goldstein, vice chairman, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., and chairman, FCCA. "This event gathers not only some of the cruise industry's most prominent players, but also many of the people and products I need to know and learn about, making it possible for us all to grow together."

"We are pulling out all the stops to ensure every attendee can develop relationships-and success-with this historic delegation through the event's unique blend of business functions and fun, unique networking events like these."
In addition to informal gatherings and lunches throughout the meetings, workshops, Trade Show and VIP room, the event features nightly social receptions from Monday, Nov. 5 to the evening of Thursday, Nov. 8. Open to all attendees and participating executives, they will mix the group to create or grow relationships that lead to mutual understanding and success - all while being enchanted by some of Puerto Rico's local sights, sounds and flavors.
With Casa Bacardi, Vivo Beach Club, Bella Vista Terrace and the Trade Show floor itself hosting the events, features in store include live music, cultural dancing and other local tastes like food stations from roast pork to ice cream and buffets with salads, artisan breads and local delicacies from chicken and cheese to pineapple kebabs with sauce from Bacardi rum.
Launching the morning of Friday, Nov. 9 and wrapping the event, the tours are also open to all attendees and executives to provide a unique and unforgettable opportunity to develop relationships and business. While spelunking in Cueva Ventana and discovering the local Taino culture, getting a different taste of culture through the Bacardi rum tasting tour or walking food tour in San Juan's newest dining destination, La Calle Loiza, or shopping 'til they drop at the Mall of San Juan, attendees and executives will learn more about both Puerto Rico and each other.Overall, the event will help attendees learn about the cruise industry and how to maximize its benefits during an agenda balancing business sessions-including workshops featuring 10 Member Line presidents and above, as well as available preset one-on-one meetings between Delegates and cruise executives-with networking, promoting and exhibiting opportunities to help develop business and relationships between attendees and the participating cruise executives, which this year features the most in the event's 25-year history, with more than 150 expected, including Micky Arison, chairman, Carnival Corporation; Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International; Arnold Donald, president and CEO, Carnival Corporation; Christine Duffy, president, Carnival Cruise Line; Richard Fain, chairman and CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises; Roberto Fusaro, president, MSC Cruises USA; Adam Goldstein, vice chairman, Royal Caribbean; Jason Montague, president and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises; Andrew Stuart, president and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line; Jeff Vahle, president, Disney Signature Experiences; and Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman, MSC Cruises.
