HILVERSUM, NOORD-HOLLAND (AMSTERDAM), THE NETHERLANDS - Expanding its hotel & resort management and marketing presence to Europe, Key Management Group LLC has relocated its corporate headquarters from Absecon, New Jersey, USA, to the city of Hilversum in North Holland, The Netherlands, near Amsterdam. The leading international hospitality management company specializes in the development, operation and marketing of independent, branded, boutique and condo-hotels, including several properties in the Dutch Caribbean.

“With nearly two decades of industry experience and a growing presence in Aruba, Curacao and Suriname, we saw new sales and operational opportunities in establishing a strong presence in Holland and in Europe,” says company Managing Partner Albert Laclé. “The Netherlands Antilles are a top destination market for European travelers and especially the Dutch. Relocating to a commercial hub such as North Holland will open many new business opportunities for Key Management Group and for our properties,” he said. 

Located just a half hour from Amsterdam and Schiphol International Airport, Hilversum is an historic city surrounded by nature reserves and close to other Dutch commercial hubs such as Utrecht and Rotterdam. Key Management Group will keep its location in New Jersey as its U.S. Sales and Reservations Office.

The Netherlands is a particularly important market for Curacao, where Key Management Group manages, among others, the Piscadera Harbour Village. This striking, 48-apartment hotel will soon be joined by a new luxury boutique hotel opening late 2018. Key Management Group will operate this new 42-unit property on the beach and is seeking membership in Small Luxury Hotels of the World to market the new hotel in Europe and the United States.

Albert Laclé, previously the Regional Vice President Sales and Marketing for Benchmark Hospitality in Houston and Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, NJ, together with his Managing Partner Walter Kohlross, founded Key Management Group in year 2000.

Mr. Kohlross has previously held the position as Senior Vice President at the Trump Taj Mahal, where he served as part of the opening team. He has executive management experience in Rooms, Food and Beverage and Marketing for managed operations and personnel with major hotel chains in commercial, resort, casino and convention hotels throughout the world. Mr. Kohlross held executive management positions for fifteen years with Westin Hotels in North America, South Africa, and participated in the opening of six properties, including in Asia.
