2018 Arizona Restaurant Week kicks off on September 21

Foodies, are you ready for 2018's second edition of the Arizona Restaurant Week, which actually lasts not seven days but 10. The bi-annual event first took place May 18-27, 2018 and now taking place September 21-30.

It is the most edible time of the year, giving local, regional and national food lovers the opportunity to enjoy a prix-fixe dinner for $33 or $44 per person excluding beverages, tax and gratuity at a number of participating Valley restaurants; hosted by Arizona Restaurant Association.

Arizona Restaurant Week’s goal is to position Arizona as one of the top culinary destinations in the nation by increasing awareness of the many dining opportunities available in the state, as well as stimulating business and revenue for restaurants throughout Arizona.

Menus from participating restaurants will be updated daily, so check the official website often for updates.

Many of the finest, most renowned chefs in Arizona will showcase their culinary styles for diners. The event will feature an array of well-known restaurants that will provide unbeatable prices offered during this week only!

Certain restaurants offer a drink within this promotion denoted on the participant page of the website with a drink icon next to the restaurant.

Debbie Johnson, Director at Arizona Office of Tourism said, "Consumer research has told us that, when it comes to food, it’s difficult to differentiate your destination through traditional paid advertising. So we’ve focused on promoting Arizona’s culinary credentials through content-marketing campaigns in niche editorial outlets such as Saveur and Food & Wine; arranging custom media tours for food journalists and influencers; and showcasing “food worth traveling for” on the website Expedition Foodie AZ.  

We recently sponsored a cooking demonstration and served Arizona wines at the NYC Martha Stewart Wine & Food Experience in Brooklyn, and in November we’ll be bringing in culinary influencers from New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Minneapolis for a food-focused familiarization tour of Arizona and a visit to AZCentral's Wine & Food Experience."
