Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has adopted the “Doctor on Board” programme of the Lufthansa Group. Doctors who register to participate in the programme are clearly indicated on the passenger lists of SWISS flights, and are personally welcomed aboard.

The programme is designed to ensure that, in the event of a medical emergency during the flight, the crew can immediately identify such doctors and can approach them for assistance discreetly, without unsettling other passengers.
