St. Louis, Mo., - Marriott Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott-Charlotte Northlake recently opened at 9110 Harris Corners Parkway in Charlotte, NC.  The 130,000-square-foot seven-story hotel cost $45 million.

The 188-room dual-branded hotel includes 94 rooms at both the Residence Inn and Courtyard. The location, which is eight miles north of downtown Charlotte, is adjacent to the Harris Corners Corporate Park and minutes from Northlake Mall. Other nearby attractions include Charlotte Motor Speedway, Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville, and Lake Norman.

The property features an outdoor swimming pool and living area, state-of-the-art fitness center, meeting rooms, and free laundry services. The Courtyard offers a full bar and bistro, which serves breakfast and Starbucks coffee.  Residence Inn serves a complimentary breakfast.

The hotel, which was developed by MJM Group of Raleigh, NC, will be managed by Midas Hospitality, a premier hotel management group headquartered in St. Louis, MO.  Whiting-Turner Contracting Company was the general contractor, The Lawrence Group was the architect, Gray Design handled the interior design, and Live Oak Bank in Wilmington financed the project.

Founded in 2006, Midas Hospitality has developed, opened and currently manages numerous properties including 33 hotels in 14 states.  The company serves global brands including Hilton, IHG, Marriott, and Starwood.
