The history of golf dates back to 15th century. Much has changed since then.

There are about 32,000 golf courses in 140 countries in the world. Popular golf tourism destinations include Spain, North America and Portugal. However, emerging golf destinations such as South Africa, Turkey and Dubaiwill soon be joining this list of most popular destinations for golf tourists according to KPMG Golf Advisory.
