APG WORLD CONNECT, the leading global aviation conference has announced that John Melchior has been appointed the new Director of the conference.

John Melchior is an experienced executive from a long list of leading companies in the travel industry, including Phocuswright, Onyx, Radius and many others.

A key role for him will be to use his vast International experience and network to introduce and involve new segments and a wider International audience to the conference which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year. Last year APG Connect attracted 460 participants from over 75 countries.

Jean Louis BAROUX – Founder & CEO of the World Connect who still will be closely involved with the conference said: “We are delighted to welcome John Melchior in this role. He has been closely involved with APG Connect for a number of years already as our main moderator and therefore understands the very special spirit and quality of the conference. The future looks very safe in Melchior’s hands”
