LIMASSOL - Kanika Hotels & Resorts, leading hotel group in Cyprus, has announced the opening of its new luxury hotel, Amavi, in Paphos on 29 September 2018. As the first and only custom-designed couples-only hotel in Cyprus, the Amavi breaks new ground in Cyprus, promising ‘Holiday perfection for couples’. The name is inspired by the Latin quote “Veni, Vidi, Amavi” – meaning “I came, I saw, I loved” – to express a destination for couples who value privacy, tranquillity and intimacy a la carte.

The new hotel is situated directly on a Blue Flag beach in Paphos, with enchanting sea views and sunsets from all rooms and public areas, and within walking distance from the town’s tourist promenade, picturesque harbour and medieval castle.

Accommodation is provided in 155 rooms and suites, all with sea view, offering a choice of five distinctive room categories for every occasion, from a last minute escape to a long awaited honeymoon. Leisure facilities include two outdoor pools, a fitness centre with elegant daylight indoor pool, a tennis court, and a spa with twin treatment rooms for a side-by-side spa experience. 

The hotel’s half-board premium gastronomy covers four restaurants and three bars, serving guests in casual as well as formal and intimate settings. Dining options range from international buffets to themed fine-dining a la carte menus served indoors, outdoors by the sea or in the roof garden.  Sophisticated live entertainment is available every evening.
