Cambria Hotels celebrates 35th property opening

ROCKVILLE - Choice Hotels International, Inc., one of the world's largest hotel companies, in collaboration with Springfield, Missouri based O'Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC., announced the opening of the Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge.

The Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge property features an outdoor patio and pool, 2,370 square feet of multi-function meeting space, a fitness center, in-room views of the McDowell Mountains, and custom desert landscaping that features assorted cacti along the property perimeter. The hotel also includes contemporary on-site dining, serving a menu comprised of local specialties, signature cocktails and local craft beers, as well as freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches.

"The Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge marks the 35th Cambria property to open, an important milestone for the brand as we open more hotels this year than ever before. As we continue to expand the brand's footprint in key urban markets, we're thrilled to once again team with O'Reilly Hospitality Management to introduce the Cambria brand to the Phoenix area, and bring another outstanding property that offers a local experience," said Janis Cannon, senior vice president, upscale brands at Choice Hotels. "Phoenix recently became the fifth largest city in the United States. The city's rapid growth, coupled with numerous entertainment options and corporate businesses in the area, including Choice's corporate technology headquarters, make Phoenix the perfect location for the Cambria brand and the modern traveler."

Located at 4425 East Irma Lane, the new 130-room upscale property is situated in Desert Ridge, which offers wonderful shopping and dining options at the intersection of Highway 101 and Tatum Boulevard. The property is also just minutes away from downtown Phoenix, including the city's many attractions, award-winning restaurants, premier golf courses, professional athletic stadiums, and several corporate headquarters such as Go Daddy, U-Haul and Honeywell Aerospace, as well as near the Mayo Clinic facility.

Choice Hotels collaborated with O'Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC to open the Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge. O'Reilly is an experienced development firm with several upscale hotels and resorts across the country, including two additional Cambria properties in Plano and McAllen, Texas.
