As demand for the organisation of international congresses has been rising within the sector, Event Masters unveiled a new PCO department. Jan Van den Broeck, a renowned Professional Conference Organiser in Belgium, named the manager for the new PCO department.

The PCO team will work in close collaboration with all the other services (team building, tailor-made events, destination management and incentives) to approach meetings, congresses and conferences in the creative and distinctive manner that is characteristic of Event Masters. ‘This means doing away with the traditional paths and launching a completely new congress experience,’ says Bert Knuts decisively.

It is this approach that convinced Jan Van den Broeck to become part of the story. ‘I’ve already been organising congresses and conferences for a long time. I was responsible for a PCO and DMC agency in Brussels. But I had been looking for an innovative approach to make congresses more attractive for the participants and organisers. With Event Masters, we have the possibility of realising this and approaching projects in a much more creative manner. With the broad in-house knowledge, we have the ability to respond quickly, guaranteeing a full 360° approach.
