Next week Riyadh to witness its popular shopping festival 2017

Next week, the Riyadh shopping festival, will be opened, an entertainment bonanza famous during the summer vacations. Hosted by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in collaboration with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), the Riyadh Tourism Development Board and Riyadh municipality, the festival will start from Monday and will continue for thirty days.

 This annual event is organized to maintain a high level of shopping and tourism in the capital during the summer vacations, as explained by the organizers. Last year, the festival witnessed more than 9 million visitors. It also aims to keep the capital lively during the summer when many people go abroad traveling in their vacations.

Furthermore, the festival is all geared up to endorse public-private partnership to support domestic tourism and economic activities.

This year, the number of visitors is anticipated to increase as hundreds of leisure activities are on offer in different city malls, shopping centers and amusement parks including shows, plays and fun-filled competitions with attractive prizes.
